Real Estate Market Update January 2022

As of January 1, there were 38 listings in Walnut Creek, of which 23 were condos, 4 were townhouses and 11 were single family homes. Out of these 38 listings, 12 were coming soon listings, i.e. they were not quite on the market yet. Three out of four town-houses were listed below $1 Million. There were two listings in San Marco and both have been getting a lot of interest. San Marco is a highly desirable community with great location, beautiful landscape, lots of parking and great schools. In 2022, San Marco townhouses will push through the $1,000,000 threshold. It is a result of persistent housing supply and demand imbalance. Not sure if it is something to be celebrated.
